Hey, tml. I think you may have a problem in your New Albany Kroger address. My fsl shows someone posted it at the spike price about 9 hrs back, but the bargain board shows your 15 hr old post still at 3.60. Your address is 5191 Hampstead, while my fsl address is 5192. Have you synced that station recently?

It also depends upon your local TV station. A year ago there was a World Series game Friday evening instead of Fringe that I would tape. They left the show listed at that time slot as "Fringe" - but showed the ball game. My DVR understood that it was a New Fringe show so taped that hour for me - which I found out later turned out to be just a part of the ball game. :((

Forgot to say that if the episode did not air, neither recorders on the Directv system would record the show. It seemed to be sensitized to the show I wanted. Also on the West Coast we rarely have shows pre-empted.

Hi tml721 - I see MSGuy answered your question. I was also going to say it depends on your model DVR and the provider. For instance I have Directv and I had a 2 year old model that only recorded SD (standard def) for 100 hours. That DVR had a feature where I could record everything that aired for that season and I could choose to record only first run episodes. Well that last feature did not operate reliably and I had to manually recorded each new show because I didn't want multiple copies of the same show (I only had 100 hours after all). The new HD DVR I have now can record up to 200 hours in HD and it has 5 tuners so I can record 5 different shows at once. It has a season pass feature that works reliably. So my long winded point (sorry!) is it depends on the model of your DVR and if you care you only record first run episodes or every TBBT episode on CBS? I hope I made sense?
